As a communication facilitator, Rob has experience cultivating dialogue and deliberation with The Institute for Civil Dialogue, StoryScope—A Story Circles Project, and Fighting to Understand. These dialogic spaces cultivate empathy, perspective-taking, and compassion to reduce stereotypes, prejudice, and biases with the intention of collaboratively transforming conflict into an opportunity for growth.
As a communication educator, Rob has taught 12+ communication courses including communication research methods, intercultural communication, and organizational communication for various institutions such as: Arizona State University, The College of Wooster, Western Washington University, and California State University, Long Beach to name a few.
